In his fourth book for children, Dr. Wayne W. Dyer focuses on the topic of excuses and how they can do more harm than we realize. The book demonstrates how excuses go far beyond “my dog ate my homework,” and can actually become words that prevent your child from reaching his or her potential.
The book follows a boy with a seemingly impossible dream who almost lets excuses (“I’m not smart enough” . . . “It’s too hard,” and so on) get in his way.
He discovers, as will your child, that by following a few simple ideas and eliminating excuses . . . anything is possible!
Great! Helpful aid in teaching childrenReviewed by Amanda Diane, 2010-03-01
I love this book. I heard about it from OSU Channel 34 one night when Dr. Wayne Dyer was talking about "No More Excuses" for adults. I really bought this child's book for myself, because I learn better when the material is short and clear. Then I got a set for a friend that is an elementary school teacher to use in her class.

This book is an excellent source of inspiration not only for the
kids but for adults also. It is a very simple story for the kids
with a lot of meaning.
Great book for my 9 nine old son, great motivatorReviewed by Donna L. Kowalick, 2010-02-15
It is great to find a positive book for youngsters today. My son is
a perfectionist and it is difficult for him to try new things
without being 100% right with it. So, this book has helped a lot,
and me too!!!!
Thanks, and very affordable and worth the money.
It will be on my shelf whenever I or my son need a boost of
confidence!
Good messageReviewed by K. Hudson, 2010-02-12
I bought this for my son because he seems to have a million excuses to not do things. It has a very helpful message for his particular personality.
Good book, great lesson!Reviewed by Jorge Alarcon, 2010-01-27
I saw the PBS program and decided to buy the book. Found it on Amazon. I love the book. This book is great for kids, but could easily be used with adults...a simple message that, if learned early (my daughter is 2), could open up the endless possibilities of the world!
